Welcome to 2nd Street Carriage House & Inn
2nd Street Carriage House
2nd Street Carriage House (sleeps 4) is a renovated 1850's carriage house in the heart of historic Madison, Indiana. We are located a block away from Main Street, where a variety of shops, art galleries, and restaurants await you. Two blocks south from our cottage is the gorgeous Ohio Riverwalk. Wineries, and wonderful antique malls are all within a few blocks away.
A charming and spacious bedroom with a queen size bed is located on the main floor, along with a master bathroom, complete with a clawfoot tub and shower. Upstairs in the loft you will find a comfortable family room, where you can relax, watch TV, or have a glass of wine. A twin bed with a trundle (2 twin mattresses) is tucked in the corner. A fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, stove, refrigerator, and coffee maker is next to the family room.
Enjoy sitting outside on the patio in the fenced in private backyard, surrounded by gardens full of seasonal flowers. We are excited to share our town with you!

About Us
We met at Hanover College, which is just outside of Madison. After graduating, we married and moved to Valparaiso, Indiana, where we lived for 40 years. After raising our family, we retired in 2013, and returned to Madison, a town that we always loved for its beauty and friendliness. We love sharing Madison with friends and family and now having our guest cottages allows us to do just that!
